Landscape Jerusalem

This painting is full of pure color, an exploration of an inner emotional landscape. The sun in the bottom right corner symbolizes newness and hope. Rebbe Nachman explains that we can use the power of holy imagination to visualize the way we would like things to look. In order to be happy, we must be able to imagine what that looks like. Vibrant colors evoke emotion.   Note the open sky which gives a feeling of expansiveness and possibility.
